Nagoya city sightseeing with Prof. Ampiah

This is Yuki. I went to Nagoya city sightseeing yesterday with Prof. Ampiah at Cape Coast University, Ghana, and Kensuke-san, M2 student at GSID.

Prof. Ampiah and Kensuke-san

At first, we went to Nagoya Castle which was constructed on the orders of Ieyasu TOKUGAWA. The castle is famous for the golden dolphins called "Kinshachi". There are two Kinshachis on the main ridge of castle roofs as you can see on the picture below.

After the Nagoya Castle, we went to TOYOTA Commemorative Museum of Industry and Technology. It was first time for all of us to visit the place. Fortunately, we could have an English tour. We saw demonstration of spinning machine, updated weaving machine and metal-working technologies. We were very excited to see those demonstrations! (especially Kensuke-san & I)

I really enjoyed the city sightseeing with Prof. Ampiah!
I hope he also did.
