Special Presentation by Dr. Gerald W. Fry

Hi! Friends! This is Liu Jing. I guess everyone is fighting for something by the end of the semester. Today, it is our honor to have a distinguished guest, Dr.Gerald W. Fry at GSID, Professor of educational policy and administration at University of Minnesota.

A special presentation titled Educational Development Issues in Southeast Asia: An Overview was given by Dr. Fry. Within about one hour, Dr. Fry led us to a comprehensive tour to education issues in almost every country in Southeast Asia. This presentation helped us to understand specific education issue at country level. At the same time, it helped us to get familiar with the common issues and similarities in eudcation sector among countries at regional level. Also, we may get some hints from his presentation for our own research topics and research focus.
